Developing youth through juggling since 1994.

Director Paul Arneberg has made a career out of his life-long passions of verbal & written communication, performing arts, athletics, and good virtues—all toward developing the lives of youth.  After a life-changing collegiate summer of learning to juggle while camp counseling, Paul founded JUGHEADS (JH) while managing the Wise Guys program of Edina KIDS Club. In 2005, the company (now an LLC) moved to Wooddale Church-Edina. With all-around support from Paul’s wife of 18 years, Wendy, along with coaching support from Jughead graduates, JH spans 10 grades; develops student leaders; produces an annual Juggle Jam; offers high school lettering; and travels to festivals. Coach Paul holds a U of MN degree in Speech-Communication with minors in Music and Theatre.  He finds joy in his personal daily disciplines of Bible study, marriage enrichment, distance running, and bluegrass banjo.

Coach Scott Richter started his juggling endeavors in 6th grade, being self taught with the help of the instructional book "Juggling for the Complete Klutz". Already hooked on it, Scott joined the JH as a latecomer to the company in 8th grade and worked his way into its top club by the following school year. With 5 years as a student in the company, Scott was part of student leadership, created and performed a variety of specialty acts, and took away a very keen interest in performing and teaching.

As JUGHEADS' first ever co-coach, he led the way for the expansion of the coaching staff in the years to come, serving 3 years from the fall of '07 to the spring of '10. With a year off, Scott returned in 2011 to the mentoring and development of youth through juggling. Coach Scott's interests include entertainment, juggling (who would have guessed!?) music, and the pursuit of an ever closer relationship with God through his faith in Jesus the Christ.

Scott coaches Elite Club, Advanced Club, and Thursday Rec. Club.

Coach Kelvin Ying
began juggling with Jugheads in 1999, before it was even called Jugheads! After taking more than four months to learn three balls, he advanced steadily and made Ultimate Club by 7th grade (coincidentally, the first year it was called the Ultimate Club). He grew to love teaching by assisting Girls Elite, and as the Specialty Act Officer, he spearheaded the creation of the Winter Showcase, constantly striving to develop higher standards of performance and choreography. These experiences formed the nucleus of his leadership style, feeding directly into his role as the Ultimate Club co-director (with former coach Billy Watson) and later director. Throughout his college years at UW-Madison in 2007, Kelvin stayed involved with the company, serving as a summer coach in '09, '10, and '11.

As a year-round coach, Kelvin is passionate about serving the Jugheads mission of developing youth through juggling. Kelvin also enjoys pursuing a variety of musical ventures (performing, accompanying, composing, and conducting), cooking for friends, and learning about the people around him..

Kelvin coaches Elite Club, Friday Rec. Club, and Ultimate Club.

Spcialist Coach Jon O'Connor
is in his 7th year working with U.C. Teaming up with Coach Kelvin, Jon’s focus is to build a new team of expert passers and performers in Ultimate Club. A pro juggler & actor, Jon toured for 25 years as one-third of The Flaming Idiots, and he’s currently developing a new trio, The Mighty Hindenburgs. Jon has been married to Stephanie for 16 years.

Jon coaches Ultimate Club.
